Dear MARIS Members,
The last two years have been fast-paced, inspiring, and insightful. We have come a long way since I wrote my first letter to you. We have matured rapidly, strengthened our relationship with members, delivered on our commitments, and enhanced our services. As a real estate community, we’ve become stronger, together.
As a company, MARIS embraces the philosophy of continuous improvement. Consumer trends, business, technology, and real estate does not stand still. Which is why we keep moving forward. We constantly evaluate the future of real estate and take strides to make that future easier for our members.
What we know to be true. We’ve conducted member surveys, read hundreds of suggestions, observed behavioral trends, and engaged with thousands of members across our marketplace.
We discovered that our members often want two very different things. Some members want us to change everything, and some don't want us to change anything. However, both agree on what they value — service and products that are mobile-friendly and easy to use.
We know that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to serving our members during such a transformational time in real estate. As a result, over the course of the next year you will see us deliver products and strategies that serve our divergent members needs and business styles. At the same time, we plan to maintain the classic technologies that you’ve come to rely on.
In the coming months, you will see communications regarding our decision to upgrade all MARIS members to Remine Pro, which will occur in Nov 2019. This will enable those members who want a more mobile, modern product to engage with their clients like it's 2020. You will read about our board consolidation efforts that will help us be more agile, yet balanced in our decision making. Then you will hear about our plans for utilizing a common data platform, which will enable us to offer different MLS front-ends, while providing enhanced compliance and mobile add/edit capabilities.
I’d like to encourage you to read our press release, subscribe to our blog, and utilize our suggestions form. Your perspective is important to us, please continue to feed into our shared future and success.
Sincerely,
Timathy Dain |
