Dear MARIS Members, This year marks 23 years of business for MARIS. In the spring of 1995, we embarked on the fantastic journey of enabling Mid-American REALTORS® with a multiple listing service. Since that time, the industry has evolved considerably. Throughout the years, we have grown and succeeded together as a real estate community. We’ve successfully partnered with real estate professionals to enhance cooperation among competitors and make the dream of home-ownership as attainable as it is today. At MARIS, we understand the importance of our customers maintaining their competitive edge. Which is why we continually strive to provide you with modern products, training, services and support you need in this ever-changing industry. With this in mind, I am excited to announce that MARIS is undergoing a series of improvement efforts that will help us serve you more efficiently and effectively. Here are several initiatives that are a part of our journey towards a more modern MARIS: Customer Relations We’ve recently selected a new customer service software solution. The new software will help us serve you better, allowing you more time to do what you do best. Marketing and Communications Real Estate is an industry built on relationships and partnerships. In the future, we will leverage more modern communication styles and channels to connect with you; such as email and social media. Visual aspects of the brand may receive a refresh to reflect a more modern MARIS. Website Upgrade We are currently in the process of upgrading MARISnet.com. We selected 1000Watt to help develop a modern site that makes it easier for you to access training and information. The new website is expected to launch this summer. Modern Products We will continue to focus on providing you with products that are new and valued within the industry. As an example, products such as Remine and ShowingTime help you work faster and deliver a higher value to your customers. In the coming months, you will hear more from me and about these exciting improvement efforts. Sincerely, Timathy Dain President | MARIS |
