MARIS’s updated Rules and Regulations went into effect on Tuesday, March 1st, 2022. The Rules and Regulation Packet brings together three documents aimed at keeping you up to date of all policies and procedures utilized by MARIS and its staff.
Here is a quick look at what each section offers.
- The Rules and Regulations: Combines NAR policy with local policy to define how MARIS MLS and its staff operate to maintain our system software and help create a cooperative environment for our REALTOR® members.
- Addendum A: MARIS Interpretative Policies replaces the MLS Guideline document which included photo/video rules as well as square footage, bedroom, and room count policies. The new Interpretative Policies document seeks to expand on those guidelines by defining and further explaining commonly asked questions about the rules and regulations.
- Addendum B: MARIS Compliance Enforcement Procedure provides information on reporting violations, processing violations, hearing requests, and appeals.
