How do I save a website to my bookmarks?

Below are instructions for saving a website to your favorites bookmark in Chrome and Safari.

In the Chrome Browser:
1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. Go to the site you want to visit again in the future.
3. To the right of the address bar, select Bookmark.
4. Make sure the folder location is “Bookmarks bar.”
5. Click done.

In the Safari browser:
1. Go to the Safari app on your Mac.
2. Go to the website you want to bookmark.
3. Click in the toolbar, then choose Add Bookmark.
4. Choose where to add the bookmark and rename it if you like.
• Add this page to: Click the pop-up menu and choose a folder. The default is Favorites.
• Rename the bookmark: Enter a brief name to help you identify the website.
• Add a description: Enter more details as an optional reminder about the website.
5. Click Add.

 

Saving a website to your desktop
1. Open your browser.
      Note: Make sure your browser isn't in full screen.
2. Click on the website's URL to highlight it.
3. Once the URL is highlighted, click and drag it to your desktop or home screen where you want
the shortcut to appear.
