Can I have my property listed as two property types?

Absolutely! MARIS permits some properties to be listed in two property types.

The second listing must be activated by MARIS staff and there is a $50.00 fee.

Simple steps for having a duplicate listing:

  • Enter the listing under the second property type and save it as Incoming (this can be done using the ‘Fill From Existing’ feature in Input which copies over most of the listing data). Please ensure all required fields have been completed for the Incoming Listing.
  • Then, send an email request to duplicatelistings@marismls.com with both MLS numbers, broker office ID, and property address.
  • Notify MARIS when the property is sold. We will remove the duplicate listing from the MLS to ensure it does not affect comps or stats.

Note: The duplicate listing rule does not apply to listings entered in the system as For Sale and For Lease; only listings entered in more than one property type.
