“Accessibility features” and “other structures” added as new fields in Matrix.
MARIS understands our members’ need for accurate and complete listing information. We also know that reliable data is important when helping homebuyers find a home with features that fit their needs and lifestyle. As a result, when we received requests to make accessibility features and other structures identifiable within a listing, we took action.
We’ve added these Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) certified fields in the listing input form. Some of the existing fields on the Additional Information and Description tabs have been rearranged in order to accommodate the new fields.
You can also search for accessibility features and others structures in Matrix. However, it may take some time to ramp up search results since these are new fields.
Accessibility Features
This field includes a number of features designed to make a property universally accessible for people of all ages and physical abilities. It is available for residential, condo, new construction, and acreage and farm listings. The accessibility features field will be in the Additional Information tab.
Other Structures
This field includes structures on the property other than the main dwelling. It is available for residential, new construction, and acreage and farm listings. The other structure field will be in the Description tab.
Below is a complete list of options under these new fields.
