Visually Altered Photos – Now allowed in Matrix

Here at MARIS we recognize that vacant properties can sometimes be less visually appealing and receive fewer views online. As a result, you can now include virtually altered photos in Matrix!

Benefits
Virtually staged photos can help buyers relate to the property on a personal level and visualize themselves living in a home.

Virtual staging can take less time and be cost efficient when traditional staging isn’t in the marketing budget. According to an article published by Inman - the average cost of staging a home is one to three percent of the asking price!

BoxBrownie.com
There are many companies that provide digital alterations. But if you are looking for a trusted industry solution, we recommend BoxBrownie.com.

As a 2018 REach® Class participant, BoxBrownie.com provides image enhancement, day to dusk and virtual staging alterations. The REach® Accelerator program seeks out new companies that are dedicated to keeping the REALTOR® at the center of the transaction.

Visually Altered Photo Guidelines

  • Images must accurately represent the property or indicate that the photo has been visually altered.
  • Do not use virtual staging or visual altering to cover up any flaws in the home.
  • Virtually staged photos or modifications to chattel do not require indication of alteration.
  • Virtually altered/staged images must be submitted with a non-altered image in succession during photo upload.
